New
York - Israel's Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman (photo) spoke at the United Nations on
Tuesday, announcing to the world that Israel would get rid of the country’s Arab citizens via
population tradeoffs.
In theory, deportation or forcible transfer of population is a crime against humanity by the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (Article 7).
De facto, the expulsions of the German population east of the Oder-Neisse,
the Sudetenland and elsewhere in Eastern Europe has set a legal precedent that
permits future ethnic cleansing of other populations under international
law.
