Henri Roques

French "Ingénieur agronome", *10 November 1920 in Lyon

As a retired French "Ingénieur agronome", R. in 1985 succesfully presented to a jury of the University of Nantes in France under the chairmanship of Jean-Paul Allard ("professeur de langue et littérature germanique à Lyon III et directeur des Études indo-européennes") and including i. a. Pierre Zind (professeur associé au département de sciences de l'éducation de Lyon II) a doctoral thesis under the title "The Confessions of Kurt Gerstein". He found out that there exist seven different "Gerstein reports", each one several shades more lurid than the last. The seventh report is the one used by most official historians. R.'s thesis was accepted with honourable mention. In 1986, R.s' dissertation was declared invalid by the French Minister of Higher Education, Alain Devaquet. On January 18, 1988, the administrative tribunal of Nantes confirmed the annulment.

From 1990 onwards, R. published a historical journal succeeding another critical journal "Annales d'histoire révisionniste" edited by the publishing house in Paris "La Vieille Taupe" (Old Mole). In 1992, R.'s journal had to be stopped because of the French "Loi Gayssot".
